We are looking for students who value academic rigor and in-depth study, intellectual creativity and exchange, and would like to give their studies an individual emphasis. If, on top of that, you enjoy an inspiring and hard-working environment, LAS is probably for you.
Application & Admissions:
LAS is a selective program with an annual intake of about 80 students. Starting LAS is only possible in the winter semester. The application period is June 1 – July 15.
| Electives 64 ECTS | In the Electives, students undertake courses and projects to further shape their profile and / or use these credits for courses during their study abroad. |
| Major 104 ECTS including BA/BSc Thesis (12 ECTS) Major Introduction 16 ECTS | The LAS Majors provide an in-depth education in an interdisciplinary academic field. At the end of their first year and after having taken three Major Introductions, students choose one of the following Majors: Culture and History Governance Life Sciences Environmental and Sustainability Sciences |
| Core 56 ECTS | Core courses are taken by all LAS students. The Core encompasses basic and advanced academic skills, reflections on knowledge and science, and the a curriculum on Responsibility and Leadership. |
